Yes — most people finish in about ten minutes. The questions we get asked most, answered straight.
- Is it hard to do?
- No. The kit includes every tool, an alignment holder that sets the chip in exactly the right spot, and a step-by-step video. It takes about ten minutes.
- Is my card safe?
- Yes. With the DIY kit your card stays in your hands the whole time. We never see it, and we will never ask for your PIN or a security code.
- Is my money safe?
- Yes. Checkout runs over an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateway, and nothing is engraved until you have approved a digital proof of your card.
- How long does shipping take?
- Every order is engraved in 2–4 business days, then shipped with tracking for a flat $20 per order, charged in your currency at checkout. Most orders reach the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe within 5–7 business days of dispatch.
- What if I damage the chip?
- Rare — roughly one transfer in a hundred. Our chip-safe guarantee covers it: get a replacement from your bank and we do the full lab transfer free.
